Changing tables and feeding room are on the third floor through the pram/cot section. There is a play cafe upstairs called Hopscotch. It does cost money to get in but there is a designated under 1s area
Fenwick Newcastle is a Newcastle institution that works surprisingly well for families. This elegant department store combines upscale shopping with a fantastic food hall where you can grab everything from artisan chocolates to proper hot meals—and yes, there's even a coffee bar and champagne counter if you fancy treating yourself while the little one naps. The famous Christmas window displays are worth the visit alone, but the window dressings impress year-round, making it a lovely spot to stroll through with your pram.
The store is fully pram-accessible with wide aisles throughout, and you'll find baby changing facilities and high chairs available in the food hall area. It's on the pricier side, but perfect for a special outing or picking up a thoughtful gift. The food hall seating areas give you options to settle in comfortably with children.
If you're visiting during the festive season, come early in the day to avoid the crowds gathering around those legendary Christmas windows.
