Stunning changing stations in National Trust Estate, near shop. 3 individual changing stations, with loo. Private area for feeding.
Kingston Lacy Estate is one of those rare National Trust properties where you can genuinely lose yourself for hours. The stunning 17th-century house showcases remarkable art collections, while the vast gardens and peaceful estate walks offer plenty of space for little ones to roam. The grounds are immaculately maintained, and the knowledgeable staff are wonderfully welcoming – there's a real sense that everyone here takes pride in the place.
The converted horse stables now house an excellent café with generous seating (perfect for escaping hot days), and there are proper baby changing facilities and good pram access throughout. Parking is plentiful and free, though weekends can get busy. Entry is moderately priced, and the estate closes at 4pm, so plan to arrive with time to explore.
Arrive early on sunny weekends to secure parking and avoid café queues – the grounds are extensive enough that it never feels crowded once you're wandering the gardens.
